HPLC Column: Ultisil PFP, 5μm, 4.0×75mm

Replace the 5 hydrogen atoms in the Phenyl column with F atoms, we obtain the Ultisil PFP column. Ultisil PF-Phenyl is a phase primarily used in the separation of molecules bearing fluorine atoms, but may also be in the separation of non-fluorinated compounds such as Taxol and its derivatives. Because of its phenyl ring, it has a higher selectivity for aromatic molecules than for other alkyl-fluorinated phases. Ultisil PF-Phenyl can separate nitro-benzene isomers (para vs.ortho), which cannot be separated by conventional phenyl phase.
