), with traditional bonding of an 8
(Octyl)
carbon silane to the highest purity silica available.
The 5 µm Particle works well with prep flow rates and produces lower back pressures than smaller particles. The large diameter and extra length of this column provides high loading capacity which is great for purification of large compounds making it ideal for many proteins & peptides and other compounds.
A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
