With a 10 µm Particle, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures. It is compatible with any Reversed Phase mobile phase including 100% water, without any loss of retention run to run. This column is often used for preparative HPLC methods. Normally, you can expect less retention than a C18 column but more than a C8 column for the same hydrophobic compounds.
