This Cogent MicroBee Silica™ Stationary Phase is part of the Similars product line that has been a premium value used by HPLC laboratories for many years.
The "Type-A" Stationary Phase is irregular shaped silica that is not modified in any way. This makes it an ideal Alternate in older USP Methods that use the L3 Classification for columns and are often used for hydrophilic or polar compounds in Normal Phase HPLC.
The 5um particle of this column provides more Resolution but also will result in higher back pressure.
