This Cogent RP C8™ Wide Pore, Stationary Phase has been a premium value, and used by HPLC laboratories and pilot plants for many years. It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of an 8 (Octyl) carbon silane to the highest purity silica available.
The 10 µm Particle works well with higher flow rates and produces lower back pressures than smaller particles. The very large diameter and long length of this column provides very high loading capacity which is great for purification of large compounds making it ideal for many proteins & peptides and other compounds.
A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
