This Cogent Diamond Hydride 2.o HPLC Column is made with Cogent TYPE-C™ Silica , and this smaller particle, silica hydride based stationary phase provides Increased Efficiency, Excellent Selectivity and Faster Equilibration. Considered "Near UHPLC", this column can be used on any HPLC Instrument and still deliver improved efficiency.

Chosen for analysis of polar compounds that are difficult to retain in Reversed Phase, including polar and non-polar peptides, amino acids and other biological compounds such as metabolites. When using in Aqueous Normal Phase, this column is considered a Mass Spec Friendly Column.

This short and narrow bore column provides short run times but requires a pump that can precisely deliver, and a flow cell that made for, reduced flow rates with lower volumes. This column size is excellent, and a favorite for LCMS.
