This Cogent NP Silica™ Wide Pore Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. This low metal content, 300A, very high purity Silica is not modified in any way and is ideal as an Alternate in any USP Method that uses the L3 Classification for large molecules or for new methods.
With a 3µm Particle, this column is more efficient than a 5um column of the same phase and you will experience sharper peaks. However, due to the smaller particle size, there is an increased back pressure.
Often used for large hydrophilic or polar compounds in HILIC or Normal Phase HPLC.
