HPLC Column, RP C8 Octyl, Wide Pore, 3um, 2.1mm ID x 50mm Length, 300A

This Cogent RP C8™ Wide Pore Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of an 8 (Octyl) carbon silane to the highest purity silica available. This makes this column ideal as an Alternate in USP Methods that use the L7 Classification, for large molecules.

With a 3 µm Particle and 300A Pore Size, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures. Used for large hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Octyl Phase is also excellent for long chain fatty acids.
