This Cogent RP C4™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of a 4 carbon ( butyl ) ligand to the highest purity silica available.

With a 5µm Particle, this column works well with high flow rates and acceptable back pressures. Used for very hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Butyl Phase is excellent for in process purification of small molecules. Expect Less retention than with a C8 column.

A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
