The 10µm Particle works well with higher flow rates and produces lower back pressures than smaller particles. The diameter and length of this column provides increased loading capacity compared with analytical columns, which is why it is chosen for purification of large hydrophilic or polar compounds, making it ideal for Semi Preparative HPLC.
A specialized HPLC System is required for this column which is often used in HILIC or Normal Phase mode.
