Highly Endcapped C4 Reversed-Phase Columns

YMC-Pack Pro C4 columns give excellent peak shape with basic compounds due to the advanced endcapping technology employed to reduce residual silanol activity.  Surface hydrophobicity is lower than that of ODS, making Pro C4 useful for fast analysis of compounds of greatly differing hydrophobic properties.  Pro C4 can also be useful for separation of hydrophilic and planar compounds in cases where resolution is hard to achieve on ODS materials.

All phases in the Pro family are ideal for the analysis of all types of organic molecules, but specifically basic and metal chelating compounds.  The ultra pure silica and very low residual silanol activity means that these columns frequently do not require the use of ion-pairing reagents or ion-suppression techniques, making them ideal for LC/MS applications.
