The Cogent RP Phenyl™ Wide Pore, Stationary Phase has been a premium value, and used by HPLC laboratories and pilot plants for many years. It is double end capped (fully), with traditional bonding of a 3 carbon silane with a terminal Phenyl Ring to the highest purity silica available.
The 5µm particle with 300A pore size works well with higher flow rates.
The large diameter and long length of this column provides high loading capacity which is great for purification of larger compounds such as isomers (positional), Tocopherols, Flavonoids, Polynuclear Aromatics, Nitro-Aromatic Compounds, many Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Natural Products and Related Compounds that have Phenyl rings, making it ideal for Preparative HPLC.
A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
