This Cogent RP C4™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of a 4 ( butyl ) carbon ligand to the highest purity silica available.

With a 5 µm Particle, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures compared with smaller particles. Used for very hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Butyl Phase is excellent for short analyses of small molecules. Expect Less retention than with a C8 column.

A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
