This Cogent RP PFP™ or RP Pentafluorophenyl Stationary Phase has been a premium value used by HPLC laboratories for many years and routinely called "F5". It is double end capped ( fully ) and bonded with a four carbon link to a benzene ring with 5 Fluorines on the highest purity 100A silica available.
With a 10µm Particle, this column works well with higher flow rates producing low back pressures in preparative HPLC making this column ideal for purification of halogenated or polar samples.
A specialized HPLC System is required for this column which is packed and shipped in Reversed Phase Solvents.
