This Cogent RP PFP™ or RP Pentafluorophenyl Stationary Phase has been a premium value used by HPLC laboratories for many years and routinely called "F5". It is double end capped ( fully ) and bonded with a four carbon link to a benzene ring with 5 Fluorines; the highest purity silica available is used making this column ideal as an Alternate in USP Methods that require the L43 Classification.
With a 5µm Particle, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures compared with smaller particles. Often chosen for samples with halogenated or polar functional groups.
