The Cogent RP Phenyl™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value, and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of a 3 carbon silane with a terminal Phenyl Ring to the highest purity silica available.
The 5µm particle works well with higher flow rates.
The large diameter and short length of this column provides good loading capacity which is great for purification of isomers (positional), Tocopherols, Flavonoids, Polynuclear Aromatics, Nitro-Aromatic Compounds, many Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Natural Products and Related Compounds that have Phenyl rings, making it ideal for Preparative HPLC.
A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
