This Cogent NP Silica™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. This low metal content, 100A, very high purity Silica is not modified in any way and is ideal for purification of lipids or other polar compounds.
The 5µm Particle works well with prep flow rates and produces lower back pressures than smaller particles. The large diameter and length of this column provides high loading capacity which is great for purification of hydrophilic or polar compounds making this ideal for Preparative HPLC.
A specialized HPLC System is required for this column which is most often used in HILIC or Normal Phase mode.
